The Skinner is no longer available, but the Winkler Drop Point Crusher is very close to the Skinner in terms of size, design and blade geometry. I always seem to gravitate to either my Winkler Belt Knife or my Drop Point Crusher for EDC. You can't go wrong with either of these outstanding Winkler knives.

Hey John pass the word Case doesn't make near enough 1095 or C V . Case makes 20 or more 440 stainless to ever Carbon steel knife .

I own this knife and The caper . The caper is a awesome little knife I have no issues with it all . The RW 100 on the other hand, I can’t believe the same guy design both of the knives. The sheath is the most horrible sheath I’ve ever seen or used ( which I replaced) on any knife it’s like having a 2x4 on your side it’s big and blocky and doesn’t move with you . The knife itself is so much smaller than the sheath . It’s just not practical at all . The handle scales are the equivalent of grabbing a pine cone… the thickness of the caper ( which is ALOT smaller than the RW 100 ) is thicker and wayyy more comfortable than the RW 100 . Everytime I pick this knife up I just shake my head put it back on the shelf and pick up something else I just can’t stand it , it’s like they poured all their effort into the caper and then just said to heck with it on the RW 100 . I can not recommend this knife . You will not want to carry it due to it’s awful sheath design and you will not want to use it due to its awful handle design. The knife that mr welker used on alone had about a 4” STAINLESS blade and stag handles and it served him well for 100 days in some of the worst conditions possible. And for him to say that this RW 100 is THE survival knife?! Sheesh 🙄. Come on welker , get with case and fix this stupid sheath and handle. Your name is literally on the knife

Beautiful knife gentlemen. Love the simple, classic design and premium materials. I'd love to see thumb studs added and some jimping on the blade and back spacer though. Maybe an upgraded model soon?

I have two Case peanuts, black synthetic rough bone, red pocket worn pick bone! I love the peanut, very useful & fits right in the 5th pocket!

Instead of pocket checks go to the quality control department and ask them why they aren't doing their jobs. The last three case knives I bought where of such terrible quality that I will buy no more. Shame on you case.

Exclusively carry CV blades because I use them for real work. Slimline trapper, mini Copperlock are my favorites. Recently took one of the new CS russlock knives out of my collection to try
